Many people assume a custom kitchen has to be extremely expensive, but that's not always the case. We regularly work with clients to design kitchens and projects that suit a range of budgets, and in some cases, a fully custom kitchen can be completed for under $20,000. By carefully selecting materials, finishes and layouts, we can often achieve a beautiful, functional result while keeping costs under control.
Every project is designed from scratch, so we'll discuss your budget from the beginning and recommend options that provide the best value without compromising on quality or craftsmanship. We provide free quotes and will always explain your options before work begins.
Can you organise the entire project, including other trades?es. We can manage your project from start to finish, helping coordinate the trades required to complete your renovation. This can include plumbers, electricians, plasterers, painters, stone suppliers and other trusted professionals, making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
JK Custom Carpentry holds a Carpentry license, joiner license, Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry Renovator Licence, along with Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) insurance where required. This allows us to manage qualifying renovation projects with confidence, giving you a single point of contact throughout the entire job.
What's the quote process?We aim to make the quoting process simple, transparent and collaborative.

Get in touch with any basic information you have about your project. Photos, rough measurements or inspiration images are always helpful, but not essential.
2. On-site consultation
We'll arrange a time to meet with you in person to discuss your ideas, colours, materials, layouts, functionality and budget. We'll also take any measurements required.
3. Receive your estimate
We'll prepare a detailed estimate based on your project and discuss any options that may suit your budget or design preferences.
4. Refine the design together
If you'd like to make changes, we'll work with you to finalise the layout, materials and finishes until you're completely happy with the design.
5. Book your project
Once everything has been approved, we'll schedule your project, order materials and keep you updated throughout the entire process.

Yes. We build custom solid hardwood benchtops from a huge variety of timber species, that are made to your exact size and specifications. They're perfect for kitchens, laundries, entertainment units, home offices and feature furniture
Can you build around difficult spaces?Yes. Custom joinery is ideal for homes with unusual layouts, sloping ceilings, bulkheads, alcoves or spaces where standard cabinetry simply won't fit.
